STURIKE!

Stürike! is a queer comedy collective in Sheffield, England (one or two straights allowed).

Stürike!'s work runs the gamut of human emotion and experience from the sublime to the ridiculous, creating character-driven snapshots of a world slightly stranger than our own. Common themes include: the search for purpose in a hostile, uncaring universe, the ups and downs of family relationships, and the perils of working with children and animals.

They! are currently touring Fan Friction, an improvised parody of everyone's favourite stories. Previous works include the improvised high school movie Teen High, web serials Fun and James and Beauchamp and Bullock, and podcasts Stürike! Comedy Podcast, Nudecast, Bargain Box and Stürike! does D&D.
